SKO and the Come Together Cup
And once again the time has come: this year's Come Together Cup on the lawns in front of Cologne's RheinEnergie stadium is just around the corner.
Save the date!
On 30 May 2019 the SK-Office team (SKO(le Ole)) will take part in the 25th CTC for the sixth time and compete in the charity football tournament alongside many other regional and national companies and groups. We are big fans of the CTC because the event stands for diversity, openness, tolerance and peaceful togetherness. That is why we are proud to take part as one of many sponsors. Precisely because of the sad political conditions currently prevailing in many countries, it is important to draw attention through events like the CTC to the values that define us Europeans. This year's CTC motto “Just Miteinander” fits well with that. In everyday office life too we live togetherness among colleagues and stand up for one another.
Our CEO Stefan says: “The Come Together Cup is a mirror of diversity. Because it does not matter whether you are black or white, large or small, gay or straight. The only thing that counts is the joy of football and the fun of mutual respect. Every single employee of SK-Office Deutschland GmbH lives the same philosophy of valuing every person, in private life too. We are happy to enter as a team every year, even if it is over for us after the group stage. Just Miteinander!”
Is football all that is played at the CTC?
No, of course not. The event sees itself as a celebration intended to show that living diversity is easy, and besides the tournaments it is above all meant to be fun. The event is therefore not only exciting for football enthusiasts. Food and drink stalls and music invite you to stay a while. Everyone is welcome who brings fun and good spirits.
SKO specials and more
This year SKO will have its own stand where you can get to know the team in person and make new acquaintances. For the little ones among us there will be an SKO painting competition where children can give free rein to their creativity. The best three artworks will be chosen at the end of the competition. We are not giving everything away yet, but one thing is certain: there will be great prizes and fun for the whole family. Of course there will also be a stage programme, music and exclusively invited guests. All this and much more awaits you at the CTC. So save the date and come along! As a crowning finale the Cologne band Klüngelköpp will perform in the evening and bring the 2019 CTC in Cologne to a wonderful close with their music. Nobody should miss that!
Did you know? Get sporty!
For the really sporty there will be a charity run by SC Janus through Cologne's city forest on the same day for a small fee. A special highlight: couples can cover 5 kilometres and individuals 10. The idea behind it is that two people together reach the finish faster – because twice 5 is also 10. Anyone taking part in the run is of course warmly invited to drop by the CTC afterwards.
